National Rankings

U.S. News & World Report—2016 Edition of “America’s Best Colleges”
#2—“Great Schools, Great Prices” (North Region): This ranking is based on a calculation that takes into account a school’s academic quality, as indicated by its 2016 U.S. News ranking, and the 2014–2015 net cost of attendance for a student who receives the average level of need-based financial aid. The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the result is for students.

#3—Best Colleges for Veterans (North Region): U.S. News lists schools that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active-duty service members apply for, pay for, and complete their degrees.

#6—“Best Regional Colleges” (North Region): LVC ranked among the top 10 for the 12th consecutive year.

The Princeton Review—2017 Best Northeastern Colleges
For the 14th consecutive year, Lebanon Valley College was named a “Best Northeastern College” by The Princeton Review. The rankings are based on surveys of 143,000 students (average 358 per campus) at the colleges in the Review in 2015–2016 and/or the previous two school years. The survey asks students 80 questions about their school’s academics, administration, student body, and themselves. The ranking methodology uses a five-point Likert scale to convert qualitative student assessments into quantitative data for school-to-school comparisons.

Victory Media—2017 Military Friendly Schools
Once again, Lebanon Valley College was recognized as a Military Friendly School in the latest list released by Victory Media, a veteran-owned business and publisher of G.I. Jobs magazine and the Guide to Military Friendly Schools. The 2017 Military Friendly Schools list honors the top colleges, universities, and trade schools that do the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.

Lebanon Valley College ranked among the top 10 percent of colleges included in The Economist's first-ever college rankings. The rankings are based on the economic value of a school equal to the gap between how much money its students subsequently earn, and how much they might have made had they studied elsewhere.
