This course provides a broad and comprehensive
overview of United States national security, the
intelligence community (IC) and the intelligence
cycle, strategy, the Kill Chain, target-centric
intelligence, U.S. national interests, the
Department of Defense, information security
(Infosec), cybersecurity, transnational security
challenges (climate resilience, drug trafficking,
and crime), hybrid warfare, homeland security and
border control, and critical infrastructure
protection. It will also analyze the National
Security Strategy (NSS) and the National
Intelligence Council's Global Trends 2040 report. 3 credits. |
