| This non-traditional studio course emphasizes cross-media art practice in addressing significant issues impacting humans at the local, national, and global levels. Applying lessons from historically significant works of political art and the current field of socially-engaged art, students learn to analyze problems, visualize meaningful responses, and construct ambitious art projects in a collaborative studio environment. The course also emphasizes descriptive writing about the artistic process and group organization of a public exhibition on campus.
